Deep Clean

For a house that has not been reset in a while.

Priced from the size of your home

After cleaning: the same basement from the same angle under the same bare bulb. The lint is stripped from the dryer and vent hose, the joists, pipes and window are brushed clear of dust and cobwebs so the glass block reads bright green again, the laundry is folded into the baskets and stacked on the table, the detergent is reduced to two jugs, the hose is stowed on the shelving and the concrete floor is swept and mopped with the drain surround scrubbed. The flaking wall paint, the efflorescence and the dented old machines are all still there.
Before cleaning: a 1920s bathroom with mint-green wall tile and a black-bordered hex tile floor. The sliding glass shower door is clouded almost opaque with chalky hard-water scale and soap scum, the chrome shower head and taps are crusted with limescale, rust-brown mineral staining runs down the tub around the drain, the sink and mirror are flecked with dried toothpaste, and a damp towel lies crumpled on the floor beside an overfull bin.
Before
After cleaning: the same bathroom from the same doorway in the same flat midday light. The shower door glass is now clear enough to read the green tile behind it, the chrome shower head, taps and door frame are descaled and polished, the tub is white with the drain staining and grime ring gone, the mirror and sink are spotless, the floor grout is noticeably lighter, the towel is folded on the rail and the bin is empty. The tile is still vintage and the radiator still wears its thick old paint.
After

What it is

The job, plainly.

A Deep Clean goes at the parts a maintenance visit is not scheduled to reach. Baseboards and door frames by hand, vent covers, ceiling fan blades, window sills and tracks, behind and under everything that moves, and the soap scum and grease that needs dwell time rather than a wipe.

Who it suits

If the house is empty and someone is about to inspect it, that is a different job with different reach. Move In / Move Out.

  • 01

Nobody has done it properly in six months or more.

  • 02

You are about to start a recurring plan and want a level floor to maintain from.

  • 03

Guests are coming, or the dust from a small renovation has settled.

What is not included

Where we stop.

Published up front on purpose. A customer who discovers a limit on the day is a refund, and a crew asked for it on the day either says no in someone’s kitchen or works for free.

  • Exterior windows, and anything that needs more than a two-step stool
  • Washing walls or ceilings floor to ceiling
  • Carpet shampooing, tile regrouting and floor refinishing
  • Moving furniture heavier than one person can shift alone
  • Pet waste and litter boxes
  • Mould remediation, biohazard, and post-fire or post-flood work
  • Hauling away junk, boxes or construction debris
  • Homes in hoarding or heavy-clutter condition, which need their own quote

A Deep Clean reaches the outside of things. Interiors stay optional: Inside Cabinets, Wet Wipe Window Blinds, Inside Fridge, Inside Oven, Dishes are each added and priced in the booking form.

How the price works

Priced from the size of your home.

A Deep Clean is not a flat fee and we will not invent one here. The booking form builds the number from the square footage, the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the frequency you choose, then shows you the total before you book. It takes about a minute and does not ask for a card to quote.
